About Digital Cameras

About Digital Cameras

Hello you are here because you wanted to learn about digital cameras.
The digital camera is truly remarkable because it branches off of normal
mechanical cameras. These cameras relied on chemical reactions and
Mechanical parts. However the new digital camera does not have need
for film because it stores its memory. Each digital camera has a tiny
computer inside it that coverts the image into a file to be stored on
the cameras memory or the SD card.
A SD card is a memory card that is placed inside the camera to store
the images on. It is usally contains more space on it then the actual
camera has on it.

When the image is stored on the Digital Camera it is stored in bits and
bytes. Basically in this form the image is just long strings of 1s and 0s
that represent all of all of the tiny dots that are called pixels.
These pixels are what create the image.

Interesting facts

  • With a 3 megapixel camera you can take higher resolution photos then most
    computer monitors can display

  • You can use most web browsers to few jpegs taken with your camera.

  • Sony accidently sold more than 700,000 camcorders with a limited
    ability to see through cloths.
